All resources will be available here in a few months, e.g. lesson plans for teachers, songs, videos, stories, play ideas and activities for families, tips and resources for engineers looking to deliver public engagement with young children. Just now check out resources developed by other providers, find out more about our research and how you can get involved.

Engineering is collaborative and creative.

We worked with Hopscotch Songs to create a song and animation introducing engineering. We hope you enjoy singing along: watch it on YouTube.

We'll be making more songs soon. In the meantime check out other songs by Hopscotch from exploring our bodies to meeting the planets in our solar system.

Engineering is fundamental and imaginative. Just like reading.

What are the best books for introducing engineering ideas? Our engineers and project team are putting together some recommendations of engineering stories - check back soon to find out what books they love and why.

Several of the stories will also link with our play ideas and form the perfect introduction to the activities.

Engineering is fun.

We are developing a range of engaging and hands-on activities from classroom resources to play at home ideas, designed in collaboration with teachers and families.

The teaching and play ideas will be simple to set up and harness children's natural curiosity and problem solving skills.

Engineering is diverse.

Our engineers are all very different and work within so many varied industries from robotics to sport to medicine.

We are creating videos to introduce you to who they are, what they do and why they love engineering!

Check back in a few months to watch the videos.
