There are lots of ways you can help make our project a success.
Engineers, parents and teachers - please do complete our surveys which are linked below.
Our 20 engineers and fantastic selection of creative arts professionals have come up with loads of fun engineering activities which are now in a wider testing phase. We'd love more schools and nurseries to help us test out all the ideas. P{lease contact us to discuss how we can work together.

Surveys – For Engineers, Teachers And Families
We want to portray a more accurate representation of engineers and engineering to the young children taking part in our project. Previous work engaging young children with STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) in general has focused on characteristics shared by the STEM professionals that children could identify with, e.g. inquisitive, tenacious, team-player etc, and this allowed them to develop less stereotypical views of scientists, e.g. using these characteristics rather than things children typically say to describe scientists, like have crazy hair, are nerdy etc.
We would like to take a similar approach with engineering but there isn’t all that much literature about how engineers see themselves and so we’ve developed a quick questionnaire to find out a bit more about engineers view engineering, their own personal characteristics and their career motivations. We'll contrast that data with the views of parents/carers and teachers to help identify areas our project should focus on.
