Build a noisemaker

Sometimes making lots of noise is fun. The first part of the activity is a challenge to make a loud shaker – what materials make the most noise? Sometimes though too much noise can be really annoying, like for the Rabbit in Rabbit’s Nap. Read the story and then try to make your shaker quieter. What ways can you use to make something less noisy?
